The organizers of De-ICE Citizens Bank have been working tirelessly for the last six months to get Citizens Bank to end their relationship with ICE for-profit prison contractors, CoreCivic & GEO Group. Citizens Bank helped both companies get over $2 billion in financing since 2024.
Citizens Bank announced today they are ending their lending and credit relationships with CoreCivic and GEO Group!
However, the fight is not completely over. De-ICE Citizens Bank is working to get Citizens to publicly commit within 10 days to end all current and future banking relationships with CoreCivic & GEO Group to meet the standard other banks are already at.

My container fig tree is growing lil’ figs! I have had this fig tree for over a year and a half and finally this summer it’s been growing like crazy and producing fruit 😍 I might end up with only 3-4 from this season, but growing them at all feels like a miracle!
