Even MORE options for cleaning supplies

I got a lot of great comments on TikTok and Instagram from my cleaning supplies series and I wanted to share them with you, so here ya go!

  • Good Store/EcoGeek: Founded by Hank and John Green, the internet video brothers. The Good Store is their overarching site for the Awesome Socks Club – a sock subscription service, Keats & Co – coffee and tea, Sun Basin Soap – shampoo and body bars, and EcoGeek – cleaning products. All of the Good Store and their sub-brands profits are donated to charity and they’ve donated over $10 Million so far since 2019.

    • The Details: Each brand donates to a specific charity, and EcoGeek donates all profits to the Coral Reef Alliance. The Coral Reef Alliance supports the conservation and protection of coral reefs in Hawaii, the Western Caribbean and the Coral Triangle in southeast Asia known as the “Amazon of the seas”. And, if you’re suspicious of charities actually doing good like I am, I checked the Coral Reef Alliance on Charity Navigator and they received a rating of 100%! I could not find a DEI policy listed on The Good Store or their parent company, Complexly’s websites, but Complexly does have a female CEO and a female Chief Business Officer which is a nice change of pace from most companies.

    • What they have: EcoGeek sells their products in concentrated table or powder form similar to Blueland, and they have laundry detergent and dryer sheets, cleaning sprays, dishwasher tabs, dish and hand soap.

  • Oak and Willow: Founded by Haley Massicotte, they create affordable, eco-friendly cleaning products. Oak and Willow operates as a collaborative, where profit is equally distributed amongst the team and they ensure all employees are paid a living wage. They don’t have a DEI policy listed on their website, which is common for smaller companies.

    • What they have: Oak and Willow sells cleaning products like sprays, laundry detergent, hand and dish soap in concentrated tablets or powders. They even have shampoo and conditioner bars!

  • Marley’s Monsters: Founded and owned by Sarah Dooley. Marley’s Monsters makes reusable cloth towels as a substitute for paper towels, as well as reusable sponges and Swedish dish cloths. I couldn’t find a DEI policy on their website but as mentioned that’s fairly common for smaller companies.

    • I’ve used Marley’s Monsters for the last few years and I LOVE them. We were burning through paper towels before and now we go through a couple rolls a month. They last a long time, are easy to rewash and come in a ton of fun patterns and colors.
